The fourth husband of a popular Pakistani actress has announced that he will not divorce her after she applied to end their marriage.
Thirty-four year-old Noor Bukhari, a former model from Lahore, married fellow actor Wali Hamid Ali Khan in June 2015. Then earlier this week she suddenly announced on Twitter that her fourth marriage was over:
Yes i am divorced again, i know what people will think about me but i tried alot, now things doesn’t work so i decided to live alone for now

But her fourth husband said they had not even begun the process of divorce and he had no wish to do so. News station Samaa TV quotes the musician:
“Noor is a great lady and my wife – I will not divorce her. I think some clashes occur in every marriage but divorce is no solution to that. I am positive our marriage will continue.”
He had apparently not even been aware that she had applied for divorce. He explained:
“I’ve been busy with work and last night, it came to my knowledge that she has applied for a divorce? I will not oblige.”
Wali Hamid is a member of successful Pakistani band Raga Boyz, with his brothers Nayab and Inam. The siblings are the sons of Hamid Ali Khan, a famous classical singer.
Noor, meanwhile, has appeared in 11 Punjabi and Urdu language films to date. She directed the most recent, romantic comedy Ishq Positive.
