Congratulations to Stowe’s Shanika Varga-Haynes for winning Family Law Associate Solicitor of the Year at the national Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards 2022.
The annual Lexis Nexis awards brings the nation’s family law community together to celebrate excellence and outstanding achievements, and to recognise the important work of family lawyers.
The shortlist and winners are chosen by a judging panel made up of the heads of the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution, the Association of Lawyers for Children and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
By winning the Family Law Associate Solicitor of the Year award Leeds-based Shanika is recognised as a solicitor who has made a major contribution to the field of family law through her law practice, outstanding focus on client service, and strength of teamwork within the firm and profession.
The category was particularly strong and included fellow Stowe Associate Liza Gatrell alongside Shanika.
Stowe’s Regional Director Rachel Roberts said “I’m absolutely delighted that Shanika has received this well-deserved accolade. She works tirelessly both as a family lawyer for her clients and for the profession generally, particularly to improve diversify and inclusion. It’s an honour to have her in the Yorkshire team!”
