Happy birthday to us!

Today is the 10th birthday of this blog. Our very first post, a reprint of an article in a local Leeds newspaper, appeared a decade ago to the day, and can be viewed here.
Since then we have published no less than 7,762 posts. If each of those was roughly 500 words in length (a reasonable estimate) that all adds up to well over three and a half million words over the last ten years.
There have certainly been some changes since that first post –new contributors, new approaches and refreshed designs. Some of our longer standing readers may remember the major new look we unveiled back in 2014.
Many of our readers are very dedicated, returning again and again to read our stories and share their views with us. Our personal thanks to everyone who has visited the blog over the last ten years and here’s to another three and a half million words!
