A year in Winchester

Stowe Family Law’s Winchester office has now been up and running for a full year.
The office has built a solid local reputation with the help of senior solicitors Mark Chapman and Jennifer Williamson since opening in January 2016. Together, they have advised clients on all aspects of family law and, due to the national presence of the firm as a whole, have not been limited to the Winchester area. They have dealt with clients from further afield and even some who have requested their services from overseas.
The cases Mark and Jennifer have dealt with have been as varied as the clients themselves. From international financial disputes, which required the input of Stowe Family Law’s in-house forensic accountancy team, to notable cases involving children, the team has taken each one in their stride.
Mark said that he and Jennifer “look forward to helping both new and existing clients in 2017”.
The Winchester office has also established itself as a member of the local community. The firm sponsored the 2016 Winchester Hat Fair over the summer. Despite the name, this is actually an outdoor arts festival similar to the one famously held in Edinburgh. This year’s event was so popular that a winter equivalent – the Woolly Hat Fair – has been set up, which Stowe Family Law is also sponsoring.
The local contributions are not limited to event sponsorship. Mark and Jennifer have also pledged to share insight with, and give advice to, a number of promising students from the Winchester University Department of Law.
This milestone comes at the same time as the firm’s tenth office opens in Tunbridge Wells down in Kent.
