Stowe Family Law opens its ninth office in Winchester, Hampshire, later this month.
The new office will be the firm’s first venture to the south coast of England, after years of success in Yorkshire, Cheshire, Hertfordshire and London.
Although based in the heart of this historic cathedral city, famous for its associations with legendary Anglo-Saxon king Alfred the Great, Stowe Family Law’s new office will of course cater to a clientele in need of divorce solicitors and family lawyers across the south of England. Just as in other areas, the finely honed Winchester team will offer expert advice on all manner of family law matters, from financial settlements and divorce disputes through to children’s law and grandparents’ rights.
Senior Partner Marilyn Stowe is confident that experienced solicitor Mark Chapman will quickly earn himself a reputation as one of the best divorce lawyers in Winchester.
Mark Chapman said:

After a number of jobs including a period spent teaching English in Italy and Spain , Mark decided to pursue his long-standing interest in legal matters and attended the College of Law in Birmingham, eventually qualifying as a solicitor in September 2006. He has specialized in family law ever since and has a particular interest in helping clients deal with the division of the matrimonial finances on divorce.
Mark is a keen member of legal organisation Resolution, and just like the rest of the Stowe team, firmly believes in the promotion of a non-confrontational approach to family law.
He is married and has two children, boys aged six and two, as well as a German shepherd called Bear. His eldest son was born in Winchester. In his spare time Mark enjoys watching sport and regularly visits Twickenham to watch the England rugby team in action.
