Family law organisation Resolution has launched a professional network for lawyers at the start of their careers.
YRes is aimed not just at family solicitors and barristers, but also at paralegals and other legal professionals still new to the profession who face the pressure of legislative change and fewer jobs. Announced at the organisation’s annual conference in Brighton, YRes aims to help members develop their careers with specially tailored training and seminars, professional networking opportunities and social events for members.
Resolution’s Lucy Loizou said:
“…we aim to be a strong, unified voice for the next generation of family practitioners.”
YRes members will be able to network with older, more experienced lawyers, she added.
“Meeting face to face in a social but professional setting can sometimes be a very effective door opener.”
