A tougher new inspection regime will be introduced for residential children’s homes from April, Ofsted has announced. From April 1, the inspectorate will apply revised criteria similar to those now used with local authority children’s services. A rating of ‘adequate’ will no longer be available to homes not thought to merit a rating of ‘good’….
