Clint Eastwood wife split rumours
Clint Eastwood is said to be on the verge of splitting from his second wife, as his close friendship with jazz musician Diana Krall intensifies, Daily Mail reports.
The 82-year-old father of seven has been married to TV presenter Dina Ruiz for five years and claimed at the time of the wedding that she’s the one he’s been waiting for. The actor had been in a series of turbulent relationships and one marriage prior to meeting Miss Ruiz.
Speculations have centred on Eastwood’s relationship with Miss Krall, who is half the actor’s age, as they’ve recently spent a considerable time together. He’s also insisted on her songs being included in two of his recent movies.
Eastwood’s publicist denied the reports, saying the couple were ‘definitely together and will be for years to come’. With spokesman for Miss Krall adding that: ‘They’ve been friends forever, but a couple they’re not.’
However, the current wife’s predecessor, actress Frances Fisher, only found out about the Ruiz affair by spotting a photograph in the tabloids of her then partner Eastwood and TV presenter kissing. Frances Fisher thought the actor was on a boys-only golfing weekend at the time.
Unconfirmed reports have claimed that Miss Ruiz had already moved out of the couple’s home.
Dian Krall one of the hottest names in jazz and played at Sir Elton John’s lavish Aids fundraiser in Britain earlier this month. She is also due to appear at the London Jazz Festival and has been nominated for a Grammy for her last album, When I Look in Your Eyes, which has sold more than two million copies worldwide.
The other loves in the movie star’s life include model Maggie Johnson, who he was married to for 31 years, actress Sondra Locke and flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves.
