Bethenny Frankel: divorce is ‘taking a toll’
Divorce is ‘taking a toll’ on TV personality Bethenny Frankel, US Weekly claims.
The reality TV star and talk show host filed for divorce from husband Jason Hoppy in December after less than three years of marriage, but the couple continue to share a 3,400sq foot apartment in Tribeca, New York, the magazine reports.
Frankel and her husband are both seeking primary custody of daughter Bryn Casey, now three, and appeared in court earlier this week to try and reach agreement.
Afterwards, US Weekly claims ,an unnamed source said the courtroom appearance had been “really difficult for Bethenny”, adding:
“The divorce is taking a toll on her. She just wants what’s best for her daughter. She wants this divorce to be over and done with, but it’s being drawn out by Jason. All Bethenny wants to do is move on.”
Hoppy has also applied for child support from his wealthier wife, although her reported fortune is protected by an “ironclad” prenuptial agreement.
Another source told the magazine:
“Jason is livid with how cold Bethenny has been with him since the split.”
Frankel’s new talk show Bethenny begins broadcast across the US in September.
