Actor Dennis Quaid reunites with wife – but can’t stop divorce
Actor Dennis Quaid has reconciled with his estranged wife according to reports – but done so too late to halt their divorce proceedings.
The 58 year-old, best known for his roles in The Day After Tomorrow and Wyatt Earp, filed for divorce from Kimberley Buffington in November, just weeks after she had publicly announced their separation.
According to celebrity site TMZ, the couple have now reunited but they cannot remove their divorce petition from the court system as both have signed the papers.
Buffington, a former real estate agent, issued an earlier divorce petition, in March last year, but withdrew the papers the following month to work on the marriage with Quaid.
The marriage is Quaid’s third. His first ended in 1983, and his second marriage, from 1991 to 2001, was to actress Meg Ryan, famous for her roles in When Harry Met Sally…, Sleepless In Seattle and You’ve Got Mail.
