Demi Moore on the verge of filing divorce papers
US actress Demi Moore is reportedly on the verge of officially filing for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, 16 months after the pair separated.
Kutcher filed his own papers in December, according to a report in the New York Post, butMoore has made no official response until now. The paper claims that the actress, now 50, had been hoping to privately negotiate a financial settlement with her estranged husband and then file papers but says she has now lost patience and could file as soon as this week.
The Post quotes an unnamed source:
“After over a year of attempting to reach a settlement, Demi is definitely ready to move on. It’s hoped lawyers for both sides can reach a settlement this spring, otherwise the divorce will go into litigation and trial.”
The pair married in 2005.
Kutcher is now one of the best paid actors on UStelevision, reportedly earning $24 million a year for his role on highly successful sitcom Two And A Half Men. He recently also portrayed Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in the film Jobs.
Demi Moore, 15 years Kutcher’s senior, is best known for her roles in St. Elmo’s Fire and Indecent Proposal, which co-starred Robert Redford.

Why is this interesting? There must have been a prenup. Their age difference alone would have warranted one..Aging is not easy, but this was inevitable.
