You&#039;re confused! 
I think most of us are wary because each case is fact dependent. 
You cannot copy what does not belong to you. If you go into a spouse&#039;s computer without consent then you may also be committing an offence.
Jointly owned assets are different. Yu are entitled to documentation. 
Some people argue that the documentation in question has always been freely available within their home and therefore is not private.
My advice is always to take legal advice on the specific facts of your case just to make sure.

		<description>Hi Marilyn, have read you post on Hildebrand and Marco Pierre White and am a little confused! as the law stands now can a spouse copy information from letters and computers if she suspects he will hide things.  Also does it make a difference if these are joint accounts?
